Modus Vivendi is a software studio building patient, evidence-based apps for long-horizon health. This privacy policy covers modus-vivendi.ai and Old Growth Longevity (OGL), our first iOS application.
When you apply to the Founding Grove, we collect the information you submit in the application form: your name, email address, age, gender, device ownership, training background, and your stated interest in longevity. If you choose to share additional notes, we collect those too.
When you use Old Growth Longevity, the app reads health data from Apple Health (HealthKit) only with your explicit, per-category consent. This data stays on your device unless you take an action — such as a coach interaction — that requires it. You can revoke access at any time in your iOS Settings.
We use your application data to evaluate whether the Founding Grove is a good fit for you, and to contact you when invitations are extended. We use OGL health data only to provide coaching, scoring, and the features you've turned on. We do not sell your data, ever.
Old Growth Longevity uses Anthropic's Claude API to power the AI coach. Your coaching conversations are sent to Anthropic to generate responses. We do not train Claude on your data, and Anthropic does not retain conversation content for model training under our agreement.
We use Supabase for data storage, Vercel for hosting, and Anthropic for AI inference. These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy and security commitments.
You can request a copy of your data, ask us to delete your data, or withdraw from the Founding Grove at any time by emailing charles@modus-vivendi.ai.
Old Growth Longevity is built for adults thinking in decades. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
We will update this policy as the app grows. The effective date above will change when we do.
